Our property lies in a secluded hollow bordering the Pisgah National Forest. Accessing the property takes you from a four-lane highway to a meandering country road to a tree canopied dirt lane running adjacent to a babbling creek. Goodbye streetlights, hello countless stars.
Sowing Thoughts is a community-focused ministry where we invite you to experience God by connecting with people and nature. We strive to facilitate a transformative journey for youth, guiding them beyond the confines of their everyday lives and into the boundless embrace of the great outdoors.
Our camping facilities are designed to facilitate a comfortable, rustic experience. There are tent platforms, a covered pavilion, cooking facilities, picnic tables and restrooms with showers.
Primitive hiking, camp fire ring, creek-side enjoyment, open fields for games, fishing ponds and local talent sharing hobbies and skills are available to customize your group experience.

What People Say

What a blessing to see Sowing Thoughts growing! To know that many children’s lives will be forever changed by this ministry is a gift from God. Our prayers are that Sowing Thoughts will continue to grow and reach out not just to children, but to the communities in which they live.

The ministry’s focus on building the next generation through these activities has proven to be transformative for youth, as evidenced by their testimonials of drawing closer to the Lord and forming lasting friendships with their peers."
